Kerasochori

At an altitude of about 580 m, north of Filiates, in which administratively belonging, and close to the Greek-Albanian border, on Mourgana is Kerashori. The population of the village is mainly involved in livestock farming. This is a typical village in the area with few houses concentrated around the square and other scattered in the surrounding area. Although mountainous, the area promises to enchant you: the view wonderful, dense vegetation and landscape full of sounds, colors and aromas of the countryside. Especially in May the blooming cherry trees (mainly petrestraits), steal the show. Access is extremely difficult but maybe it’s worth a stop.
