Crystallopigi (SELLIAN) was relocated since 1948 in its present position, while today is today’s Agia Mavra. It is a picturesque amphitheatric village with many beauties and rich history. The new name comes from the renowned source area. The source was a driving force for the development of both the village and the wider region, as it is used by the whole area to the Paramythia and the surrounding villages for water and irrigation reasons. The village is built in most of the amphitheatrical position. Of the years of Byzantium, a fountain is still preserved in Platanean. However, more important in historical and archaeological value of the heirloom is considered to be the manuscript code of 1672 AD, which was written by the originating by Saliani Priest Estruite, currently stored in the National Library of Athens. Of course, the village is known from antiquity due to the sources of the cosmetic river that fueled Achroussia Lake, from where the souls of the ancient were driven upon tradition to Hades. At the same time, it was also the provision of crystallers (Syleanites) to the Patridos Games since the Ottoman domination to the Second World War. This is certified by the fact that, during the history, the village was fired seven times, and once an aviation bombardment was accepted (in 1943). Finally, SELIANI is known for its contribution to the maintenance and dissemination of genuine Epirus Music Delivery (Economidis, Belly, Tsameite and Mokou is Salliani)
