Morfi (or Morfion)

According to the “Kallikratis” project, Morphi (older Mind) along with Saders are the local municipal community that belongs to the municipal municipality of the Municipality of Igoumenitsa. It is located in the southwestern boundaries with the Regional Unity of Preveza, 34.5 km southeast of Igoumenitsa and 12 km northeast of Parga, east of Lake – Mouros Kalokiou. The Lake area is included in the European Natura 2000 network (willow, 2015) and consists of freshwater lakes, swamps and liquid meadow, and there is a forest area. Throughout the area, you can encounter remarkable birds (Lefkopalargos, Refrigerated Birds, Water, Watercolor and Chiffus). Suggested activities:
• Visit Lake Kalodiki, which is a Natura 2000 habitat.
• In the southeast of the village in a small cave of the Hermit Mountain, it is worth visiting Agios Arsenius
