In Igoumenitsa and Aigio, the training of the stakeholders of Project GET for Promotion of the Cross Border Region as a unique destination for cultural and historical tourism, “GET GRALB Experience Tourism”, funded by the European Union, Interreg IPA CBC Program “Greece-Albania 2014 – 2020” was held online.

The meeting began with a brief overview of project GET, and its actions thus far. A presentation of the online platform and the mobile application followed, in which numerous features were explained and showcased. Next was a presentation on destination marketing, where proposals to promote the results of the GET project and the region where analysed. After each presentation, a short discussion with the participants, in the form of a QnA, was made.

The participants exchanged ideas and opinions for the future, learned and discussed about the tourism potentials of the region, the demand of the tourism market, new products with tourist potential and especially about the importance of cultural tourism.
