Faneromeni

At 3 km north of Filiates and a very short distance from the Public Road Filiates – Ag. Nicholas – Tsamanta, is the settlement of Faneromeni. It is a traditional, protected settlement. The view from the settlement, especially when it comes to its oldest eastern part to Kampos Filiates, at the point that the Calpakiotikos River crosses, but also to the other directions, unobstructed and thoroughly, undoubtedly deserved. The few surviving stone-built houses, courtyards as well as the oldest (11th century) I.N. Agios Georgios will thank the visitor.
