National Museum of Independence (The building where Ismail Qemali provisional government had its headquarters)

The National Museum of Independence was established in 1936 in Vlora and is the first Albanian museum. It is located in the building where the first Albanian government stood. The most important environment of the museum is the office of the Albanian Prime Minister Ismail Qemali and the meeting room of the first Albanian government. The museum is considered a likable museum object. It consists of 2 rooms and 2 corridors. In it are exhibited original objects of the time that reflect, important documents of the Renaissance and Independence period, as well as various works of art dedicated to this period, the weight of which exceeds local targets. It is located south of the city of Vlora, near the port. This museum for the last 3 years has been one of the most visited sites nationwide thanks to the tireless work of the director Mr. Krenar Shtino who has collected many materials and photos from Kosovar patriots.
