The settlement of the rocket is located on a plateau that extends along the ridge of Mount Cliffs in the southeast of the contemporary settlement of Sivota. It consists of about 50 houses, which are currently retained. The houses are stone-built by small carved stones of the area, two-storey with vaulted constructions on the ground floor and date back to the 18th and 19th centuries. The houses blend harmoniously with “the imposing rocky landscape, while the few olives and almonds are not enough to soften the dry outline of the plain, but emphasize the landscape harmoniously.” 1993 the settlement in order to protect from newer interventions, was declared a historical list Monument (Government Gazette 752 / B / 27.09.1993). Suggested activities:
• Continue for Kuchi Castle. After the rocket, in a kilometer, where a wooden kiosk is standing, leave the rural road back and turn left to Polyneri. The landscape changes once you get to the top. From here you can see the Plataria Plant and its villages built on the slopes. The old path you follow to get down to Polyneri have a big bend but very good marking. The Kouti Castle stands out on the west side of a naturally fortified location that was an ancient fortified settlement.
